An occasional luxury.

Sea buckthorn oil is more expensive than most alternatives, but there are two reasons why I bought it. Firstly, it contains omega 7 fatty acids, which are, as far as I know, only available to us in sea buckthorn berries and macadamia nuts, and which may be protective for the heart. Secondly, I like the taste, which is perhaps a very personal matter. It is a sharp sort of taste, but it makes me feel like I want more of it. Therefore I use this oil with balsamic vinegar as a salad dressing, or sometimes to liven up a soup. It doesn't stay mixed with vinegar for long, but a few drops of honey helps to emulsify it. It is rather a bright yellow/orange colour, which I like, but I wouldn't want to use it on my skin!

Fab oil!

Love this oil, will buy regular, I don’t care what it tastes like, though to me it’s a bland taste, but I take it for the fantastic health benefits, way better than capsules.I was buying elsewhere, same oil double the price imported from Ukraine, I wondered if that one was more superior, but to be honest they taste the same.So I’ll stick with this one, plus I can get it next day .I take 1-2 teaspoons every day, loads of benefits .

A Unique Addition to My Healthy Cooking Routine

I recently came across Sea Buckthorn Oil (250ml) and decided to give it a try. Having never used it before, I was curious about its health benefits, and I found out that it’s packed with omega-7 fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. When I started using it in my cooking, I was pleasantly surprised by its fruity flavour. I’ve added it to smoothies, drizzled it over salads, and even used it in some light sautéing. It gives a nice, unique twist to my dishes while providing the health benefits I’m looking for.I love that it’s vegan and adds an extra nutritional boost to my meals. So far, I’ve noticed my skin feeling more hydrated and my energy levels improving. It’s definitely a worthwhile addition to my kitchen, and I look forward to exploring more ways to incorporate it into my meals!

Not wow for my tastebuds. Nothing bad about it either.

Read all the reviews, look at the company website and decide for yourself if you want this. Price I will not get into, I will leave that decision with you.The bottle is standard an interesting label with plenty of info. The foil/top was secure. When screwed back on it was appropriate for storage with the glass bottle. It poured well and was easy to control the amount. It had a reddish orange colour and the consistency of oil. It had very little taste for me when taken with bread dipped in it. The aftertaste was dry without any thick oily feeling in the mouth. Taste is subjective, you may like it more than me. If you want all the claimed benefits of this it is OK.This is not for cooking with I do not think, it is a dipping/pouring oil.
