Versatile with good flavour

Not for frying but drizzling, this has a good consistency and taste very good. Rich in vitamin E and Omega 6, it does, as stated on the bottle, have a nice earthy taste and is ideal for sauces or dressings or drizzling over a salad. It works well, alongside another dip or two, with my home baked bread, adding moisture and flavour. There is a premium to pay compared to some of the competition, hence the four stars.

nutty flavour with just a hint of grassy freshness; best suited to cold or low-heat uses

I absolutely love the aroma of this rich, golden oil—there is something so comforting about its nutty, earthy scent. It is a touch thicker than most cooking oils, with a lovely silkiness that flows smoothly from the bottle. The flavour is warm and nutty with just a hint of grassy freshness, bringing a richness that is somehow both delicate and distinct. It has a knack for elevating dishes without stealing the spotlight, making it perfect for dressings. It feels more substantial than olive oil, adding a satisfying mouthfeel when drizzled over salads.Packed with vitamin E and essential fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6, it is a little powerhouse for heart health. High temperatures can spoil its lovely flavour and nutritional benefits, leaving a bitter, burnt taste.I use it regularly in salad dressings, drizzle it over steamed veg, or swirl it into dips to add that extra touch of richness. It also makes a wonderful finishing oil for those dishes where you want a hint of depth without anything overpowering. In short, I would happily recommend this oil for its quality and beautifully unique flavour.
